Evan Gelobter

Since graduating cum laude from the Southern University Law Center (SULC) in 2019, Evan Gelobter has made significant contributions to the field of law, both as an attorney and as an educator. As an instructor of law, Evan imparts his wisdom and experiences to a new generation of legal minds. His focus and expertise lie particularly in international law, with an emphasis on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a topic he has delved into with intense commitment and passion.

His pursuit of understanding in this area led him to live in Hebron, Palestine, during the summer of his first year in law school, studying the Israeli occupation and the related international law firsthand. This experience has undeniably shaped his outlook on international law and continues to inform his teaching. Evan is not just an academic but also a legal practitioner. He is proudly admitted to the Bar of Louisiana and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
